“The Tower Stands Tall” is one of the first paintings made for my “Seascapes” series. This is an iconic area near my hometown on Laguna Beach, CA, and this scene has always served as an uncanny time capsule for me growing up. The tower, once a beacon of light in a dark and mysterious waters, now a relic dissolving from the salt of time. To me, nostalgia is a beacon of light in dark times.
